WG Christmas Party 2019
On December 8th the Warrior Guides program came together for their annual Christmas Party at United Sports. With such an awesome facility to take advantage of, the Braves and Guides were able to spread out and break off into smaller groups to enjoy a variety of activities. The stations included rock climbing, a Holiday arts and crafts room with bingo, a gymnastics room, the basketball courts for parachutes, dodgeball, volleyball and other pick up games, and multiple inflatable obstacle courses. There was a little bit of something for everyone to enjoy.
All of that playing and running around certainly built up an appetite. The students were treated to a delicious catered meal from Lione’s Pizza of pasta, salad, bread, and a little holiday cupcake for dessert. Our Warrior Guides were gifted a nice Foundation pouch for this year’s Christmas present. We are so thankful this holiday season for the special bond we get to witness in our mentors and mentees. The Christmas party was a great way to celebrate each others company and give thanks for these special relationships.
