Warrior Guides Temple Football
On October 20th, the Warrior Guides got together for their second event of the year – a Temple Football Game. The group was bused to the Lincoln Financial Stadium, the home of the world champion Philadelphia Eagles, to watch Temple University take on the University of Cincinnati. The group participated in some fun tailgate activities before the game including receiving spirit beads, tattoos, and face paint to get excited for the game. The Guides and Braves also enjoyed a wonderful catered lunch by Tamu Garrett of burgers, hot dogs, and mac and cheese.
Once everyone was a fueled up and amped for the game, they made their way to the stadium and cheered on the Temple Owls. The group got to see a great game with Temple making a fourth quarter come back to win the game 24-17. It was an awesome day with even better company. The friendships and bonds are slowly being made with each event and time spent together. Everyone is looking forward to seeing each other again next month!
