RISE Chester Made & Stinson Tower Field Trip

On Saturday February 22, one of our RISE groups went on a field trip to hear 3 Chester senior citizens model the art of storytelling as they shared their roots and identity. The current unit the students are on is discussing storytelling and how to use their voice to share where they come from. After a wonderful lunch together, the group made their way over to CHESTER MADE art studio to then have the opportunity to express their story through painting! The group even worked together on a collaborative painting, to share a story together.
