LEARN TO SKATE is a free event for Chester children in Grades 3-5. The first 120 students to register will be given bus transportation from Chester High School to Ice Line, where they will be paired with a high school hockey player for one-on-one ice skating lessons. No skating skills required. THE HENDY TENNIS CLINIC is a free event for Chester children in Grades 2-5. The first 80 students to register will be given bus transportation from Chester High School to Henderson High School, where they will be taught various tennis skills in stations. Warrior Guides are spending the day together, in service.  We will have about 15 different projects at 8 locations throughout Chester.   Braves & Guides will be given a Service Project assignment before this event, along with required clothes to wear.  We need to dress appropriately for gardening (old clothes and sneakers) vs. serving lunch (khakis and collared shirts). Warrior Guides-  This is our last event for this year!   We are going to take over USTC with sports stations, the climbing wall, a bouncy obstacle course, face painting, and more!   We will end the night with a Guides Vs. BACKPACK & SCHOOL SUPPLIES GIVEAWAY The typical class list of school supplies, costs $50 per child.  Let us help!   Backpacks filled with school supplies, will be given to 100 Chester children who attend the Chester Community Fair- First Come, First Serve! When: Sunday, August 13th.  2:00pm-6:00pm Where: Chester Community Fair- Better Living Center (6th and Yarnall St.) Who: The First 100 Chester Children to visit our tent at the fair   We hope to see you there!

  The Hicksie Cup is a Memorial Ice Hockey Tournament, benefiting the Andrew L. Hicks, Jr. Foundation, making another year of programming for Chester children possible. The tournament will take place over four nights, at Ice Line, and will include 12 round robin games, a consolation game, and a championship game. Entry is $450 per team, which includes a tournament T-shirt for each player.  As we have in the past, the top three teams will also receive medals. Good luck…
