The Foundation wishes a fond farewell and would like to express deep gratitude to our Communications Specialist, Cait Lentz, as she moves on and pursues her professional career as a Web Designer. Cait and Andrew were good friends in high school, and immediately after his death, she began volunteering with the Foundation, creating events and recruiting volunteers. After graduating from Virginia Tech, Cait returned to the Foundation as a part-time employee and has been responsible for all of our communications including our beautiful newsletter, website, social media marketing, fabulous photography, marketing materials, etc. since 2016. Her talents and marketing acumen have elevated the image of the Foundation and added professionalism and consistency to our brand. We love Cait and wish her the very best!
We are excited to announce that another one of Andrew’s close friends has decided to join the Foundation as our new Communications Specialist. Aubrey (MacQueen) Sloan, received her BA in Communication and Media Studies in 2015 and has been building her skill set and experiences in television program direction and production, as well as a highly successful personal photography business. Aubrey is tender towards our mission and has been a volunteer with the Foundation since 2010. We are excited for her to share her skills, talents and passion for social justice with us as we strive to produce the highest quality communication with our participants, volunteers and supporters. Welcome aboard, Aubrey!
