Share an Opportunity

We are looking for new ways to inspire our RISE or Launch students! Perhaps you have access to a resource that would be a unique and really valuable opportunity for a Chester teen. These opportunities can be a special life experience that can broaden their view of the world, spark a new interest, elevate their confidence, or help them to better realize their God-given potential.

Can you help us with opportunities to enrich them in one of the following ways?

Academically
Culturally
Spiritually
Socially
Vocationally
In Service of Others

Several individuals and organizations have already come forward with specific offerings. This past year, 5 RISE students were generously awarded scholarships to attend the RYLA- Rotary Youth Leadership Awards for a weekend-long leadership development retreat in Valley Forge, PA, sponsored by their local Rotary Club. Two students were also offered scholarships to Eastern University’s Summer Scholars Program to participate in Advanced Literature and Science Courses, earning them 3 college credits during a two week summer intensive. Four students attended a Winter Summit Retreat at NorthBay Adventure Camp with Christ Community Church, enriching them socially, culturally and spiritually. We also have four students applying to Harvey Cedars Bible Conference, for full-time summer employment at their beautiful camp on Long Beach Island.

We are in search of new opportunities, in the coming year, for these dedicated RISE and Launch students. Do you have tickets to a special museum exhibit or guest speaker event, scholarship opportunity, summer internship, or know of a community event in need of volunteers? Maybe you have access to a weekend retreat venue, or a need for a part-time employee, or have a special talent you could share with them, just to increase their exposure, or add to their skill set.
